Night came and the star appeared again. She went down to go talk to the rose. When she approached, she only found the stem, the beauty of the rose had disappeared. The rose cried uncontrollably telling of her sorrow, so much was the sadness of the star that she took the rose and took it with her to heaven never to come down again.

Llegó la noche y la estrella volvió aparecer. Bajó para ir a platicar con la rosa. Cuando se acercó, únicamente encontró el tallo, la hermosura de la rosa había desaparecido. La rosa lloraba desconsoladamente contando su pena, tanta fue la tristeza de la estrella que tomó a la rosa y la llevó consigo al cielo para nunca más bajar.
