The Yanesha' Living Dictionary was first produced by Espíritu Bautista Pascual and his son Elmo Celso Bautista Mariño in 2013 at an "Enduring Voices" workshop in Santiago Chile, in collaboration with Anna Luisa Daigneault and Gregory D. S. Anderson from Living Tongues Institute for Endangered Languages. It is being expanded in 2021-2023 by Anna Luisa Daigneault in collaboration with Elmo Celso Bautista Mariño and others. Intern Valeria Macias helped with tagging and data editing.
Colleagues such as Allegra Robertson from UC Berkeley Linguistics and Yanesha' community members such as Rubén Potesta Pérez are also recording new words and phrases for this Living Dictionary.
