About

Negerhollands is a Dutch creole language which used to be spoken on those Virgin Islands which used to be Danish, and now belong to the United States of America. It developed from Zealandic dialects which were brought there from the SSS islands by Dutch settlers and their slaves by the turn of the 17th century.
