This dictionary was created at the Zimbabwe Language Revitalization Workshop, which was held over three days in March 2014. It was graciously hosted by the African Languages Research Institute, University of Zimbabwe, in Harare, Zimbabwe. 

Development of the dictionary is currently led by Reggemore Marongedze.
