About

Puyuma is the language of the Puyuman people, native to southeast Taiwan. It is part of the Austronesian language family, which includes Tagalog, Maori, Malay, Balinese and many other languages of the Pacific. Indigenous Taiwanese people sailed throughout the Pacific and settled in places like New Zealand, Hawaii, and Madagascar.
