'Ekwak alone means deer to most 'Iipay speakers, though Robertson explains that in her speech, 'ekwak or kwak means "meat", and to say "deer" she must say, 'ekwak hentil "wild meat".
Hentil is from Spanish gentil, "pagan, heathen"
