While appearing to have the passive -p verb ending, has several passive and active meanings:

1. is turned around, has been turned around
2. turns around and comes back (e.g. a person)
3. gets/is upset (presumably physically or emotionally)

Plural forms have unique meanings, as listed in Mesa Grande dictionary:

• tetkewanp "they get turned around" (also includes "they turn around and come back, per Let's Talk 'Iipay Aa)
• tetkewaanp "they get turned over and over"
• tetkuuwaanp "they are all turned around" (i.e. in different directions?)
