Appears to be composed of second-person singular pronoun maa "you", plus definite object suffix -vu (becoming maavu), with question suffix -a (which overrides the "u").

Used to ask a person the same question as was just asked of you, such as, "What's your name?" Maava? "And what about you?"

Preferably, this form would be used when maa "you" would be in bare form or the object of the complete sentence, as it lacks -ch, which would mark it as the subject.
