Cachaan عشان

The Total Defiance of Arabic: This word does not exist in Classical Arabic grammar. MSA forces you to use complex words like Li-’anna (لِأَنَّ) or Bi-sabab (بِسَبَب).

The Coptic and Pharaonic Root: This is a direct phonetic survival of the ancient Pharaonic construct ʿšȝ-n or the Coptic phrase Ⲁϣⲁⲛ- (Ashan-), which is a conditional prefix meaning "if," "when," or "on account of."

The Masri Twist: Egyptians simply took the Coptic conditional engine Ⲁϣⲁⲛ-, added their beloved throaty pharyngeal ع (Ayn) at the front for emphasis, and created cachaan (عشان). Its syntax is 100% Coptic: it can connect two verbs seamlessly (عشان يروح / "In order to go"), a structure standard Arabic explicitly forbids.
