The Coptic Root: In Coptic, the independent pronoun for a female is Ⲛⲑⲟ (Ntho) or Ⲛⲧⲟ (Ento).

The Linguistic Violation of Arabic Rules: This is where the "twisted tongue" becomes a scientific fact. In Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), the word for a female is Anti (أَنْتِ).

The Smoking Gun: In standard Arabic script, it is a strict grammar crime to add a long vowel Yaa (ي) at the end of "Anti". You are only allowed to put a short Kasra vowel stroke under the Taa (أنتِ). If you write it with a Yaa in MSA, a teacher will mark it wrong.

The Masri Correction: Egyptians completely ignored the Semitic Kasra rule. They instinctively write it and speak it with a full, elongated, un-crushable long Yaa vowel: انتي (enti). Why?
