Bignay or bugnay (Antidesma bunius) is a small fruit tree that is commonly found around the Philippine archipelago. The tree produces bunches of small berries that are utilized in the production of jams, jellies, wines and vinegar.

Immature bignay fruits are white that gradually turn red, then dark purple, and almost black as they ripen. A bunch of bignays can have a multitude of colors. In terms of taste, it is sweet-tart similar to cranberries.
