MIbotwa’EN
mi- (prospective / near-future) + -en (transitivizer)
mibotwa’en — about to emerge; on the verge of coming out (of something)
This is a highly anticipatory form.
• mi- signals:
• imminent or intended action
• something poised at the threshold of happening
• -en:
• increases valency
• licenses a source or medium as a core argument
• frames the emergence as relational (“out of X”)
Example:
Agko mibotwa’en sa baxdek.
Something is about to emerge from the mud.
Nuance:
• the event has not yet occurred
• conditions are ripe
• the environment (baxdek) is grammatically and semantically foregrounded
