Notes

Korokod:

A traditional technique used to catch chickens roosting in trees at night. It involves a pole, typically made of bamboo, with a piece of coconut husk attached to the top end, serving as a makeshift perch. The hunter stealthily positions the pole, gradually raising the husked end until it touches the chicken's breast. The chicken, instinctively seeking a stable perch, transfers to the coconut husk, allowing the hunter to slowly lower it and capture it.

Unfortunately, this technique has also been exploited by thieves for illicit purposes.
