n. thought; opinion; impression; personal judgment; belief about a matter.
Refers to what a person thinks, supposes, or considers to be true, whether or not it is actually so.
USAGE:
Pagta-ed ko ga’bi na.
“I thought it was already night.”
Onong pagta-ed mo?
“What do you think?”
Amoan a pagta-ed mo.
“That is what you think.”
NOTE:
Distinct from isi “know” and kyaxa “recognize.” Ta-ed refers to personal opinion, assumption, or impression rather than certain knowledge.
