Medicinal values for: wounds, skin diseases, abdominal pains

  • Tuber: Paste prepared from tuber (da) is applied on wounds and in skin diseases. The paste is applied on the infected part of the body.
  • Root: The roots (rehet) are cut (gedai-mi) into pieces (kʰeʧaʔ) and after proper washing (ʧapi-kam) one piece (mijaʔ kʰeʧaʔ) is given on an empty stomach (eken-te laiʧ) for curing abdominal pain due to worms in the stomach.

Culinary use:

  • Tuber: Tubers (da) are boiled (hõɽeʧ) first, and then cooked with other vegetables and served with rice.
