Medicinal values for: coughs, congestion, stomach infections, digestion problems, constipation, cold or flu

  • The herb is usually consumed by the community by mixing it into tea (cah). It is considered to contain some medicinal benefits.
  • A decoction prepared with warm water (lolo daʔ) or when taken by mixing it with tea (cah) helps to recover from cold (sardi rua) or flu. And it relieves coughs (kʰuʔ) and congestion.
  • It is considered very useful and effective in combating various stomach infections, to stimulate digestion and is used to treat stomach aches and constipation.
