Grammar

From what we can tell, classical Taino followed an SOV grammar structure. In the reconstruction we have created here, we are going to be following an SVO grammar structure. This is because the related languages such as Lokono that we are loaning words from follow this grammar structure. Many of our learners as well are fluent in English and/or Spanish, which both follow this SVO grammar structure.

Example: 

I (sub.) drink(verb) water(object). Da-sa niasa.
