Usually acts like an adverb meaning "in the morning", but could also possibly be the noun for "morning" and verb for "it is morning".
Appears to be verb maaykaa "it is dawn, daybreak" with suffix -lly "in, inside".
You can also say maaykallym for "in the morning".
Note that the "a" in this recording sounds like "e" for this speaker due to the sound environment.
