This form found in Mesa Grande dictionary defined as both a verb "it hails, is hailing" and noun "hail".
Also recorded as shaahuur in Mesa Grande. Barona has a different word, hatuusir, similar to central dialects' huusiir and Tiipay huusiirr/huusirr. These are defined only as nouns for "hail", and the available examples in Tiipay suggest "it is hailing" to be said as, huusiirr wenally, "hail falls".
