USAGE

“The river is already about to break its banks.”

Somo’ro pa aan a sowong ta mari’genpangoran.
“The river will still rise further because it is still raining hard.”

DERIVED FORM

somo’ro

to rise to flood-stage; become critically swollen.

NOTES

Denotes the threshold immediately preceding overflow. The water has not yet escaped its channel, but overflow is imminent.
