Medicinal values for: gastric problems, loose stools, digestive problems, vomiting, malaria, abscesses, wounds

  • Root: The roots (rehet) of the climber are cleaned (sapʰa-em) and ground up (rid) properly and mixed with water (daʔ). This is advisable to be taken to get relief from gastric problems and to stop (eset-em) loose stools.
  • The roots (rehet) are also cleaned (sapʰa-em) properly and can be chewed (togoʧ) or kept in the mouth like tobacco to get relief from hot and sour burps due to indigestion and to control vomiting (ula).
  • A decoction prepared from the roots (rehet) is also used against malaria.
  • Leaf: A paste prepared from the leaves (sakam) is used to treat abscesses and wounds.
